PRIVACY POLICY — WAKESTREAK

This privacy policy applies to the Wakestreak iOS application ("the app") by Studio 073X e.K., represented by its owner Benjamin Zvonar, Rienzistr. 12, 70597 Stuttgart, Germany. Email: project@aetop.co. The short version: the app has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. Your data lives in your iCloud and on your device.

WHAT DATA THE APP PROCESSES

The app is a wake-up alarm with a gamified streak. It processes the following categories of data, all of which originate from your own use of the app:

• Alarm settings — alarm times, labels, repeat days, sounds and per-alarm choices you enter. Stored on your device and synchronized through your private iCloud (CloudKit) database so your alarms survive reinstalling the app.
• Wake history and streak data — when alarms fired, which mornings you verified, snooze counts, rest days, freezes. Stored on your device and in your private iCloud database. This data is used to show your streak and statistics.
• Preferences — language, tone, haptics, your wake goal, wake-up reason and your drawn commitment signature. Stored on your device only.
• Purchase information — the app sells an auto-renewable subscription through Apple's StoreKit and, where configured, RevenueCat. Apple processes the payment; the app receives an entitlement state (trial, active, grace, expired) and no payment instruments. See Apple's privacy policy for Apple's processing.
• Diagnostics and analytics (opt-in, Apple-only while configured) — the app queues technical events (e.g. app installs, alarm scheduled, morning verified) and sends them to a developer-controlled analytics endpoint. If no analytics key is configured, these events never leave the device. The events are not linked to your identity — the app has no accounts — and are never used for third-party advertising. No ATT tracking, no IDFA, no cross-app tracking.

WHAT THE APP NEVER DOES

• No account registration. No name, email or phone number is requested.
• No advertising, no ad networks, no SKAdNetwork identifiers, no data broker sales.
• No tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies.
• No location data. No microphone or camera access. No contacts.
• Never gates the alarm: the alarm rings with or without a subscription. Only game, statistics and community features sit behind the subscription.

ICLOUD (CLOUDKIT)

Your alarms, wake history and settings synchronize through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. The developer cannot read this data: it is stored in your private CloudKit database under Apple's terms. Deleting the app removes the local data; the iCloud copy remains under your control (Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage).

NOTIFICATIONS

The app schedules local notifications (night-before reminder, milestone, comeback note) only with your permission, and you can turn every category off in the app's settings. Local notifications never leave your device. Alarm delivery is handled by Apple's AlarmKit, not by push notifications.

COMMUNITY FEATURE (OPT-IN)

The community feature is off by default. Only after you choose a handle and opt in can verified-morning entries (handle, day, streak) be exchanged with other participants through the community service. Nothing is shared before you opt in, and you can stop participating at any time by turning the feature off in Settings.

CHILDREN

The app is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly process data of children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Articles 15–21 GDPR). Because the app processes your data locally and in your own iCloud, most of these rights you exercise directly: delete the app to erase local data, manage your iCloud storage to erase the synced copy. For analytics data processed on the developer's side, contact us at project@aetop.co. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence (for Baden-Württemberg: Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit, Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart).

SECURITY

Queue files written by the app are encrypted at rest with iOS data protection (complete until first user authentication). iCloud synchronization is encrypted by Apple. The developer has no servers that store your wake data.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We update this policy when the app's data processing changes. The current version is always available at this page and in the app's settings.
