One core. Every kind of business.

One core on Spectacle. Six equal bands. No beachhead product. Agents take operational work; you get the time back.

3 min read

A first account is not a category. A short first loop is not the market. Public search is loud with vertical SaaS and “AI for hospitality” product pages. Useful essays for someone selling a sector SKU. Wrong ending for this piece.

Spectacle is one core. Agents on that core take operational work the Inhaber still does by hand. Time back. Six public bands sit as equals. We do not lead with Gastgewerbe as the product.

The cut against the beachhead essay

We already wrote the strand piece: the beachhead is not the market. Venue ops can be first where the loop is real and measurable. First is a place to see the loop. First is not the ICP. First is not a SKU.

This piece is the product sentence under that cut. One object model. One forecast and simulation layer. Agents that propose a named measure and wait for Freigabe. New sector = configuration, not a second product with a new homepage.

Collapse the first strand into the category and you sell restaurant software with other verticals as afterthoughts. Keep the cut and you sell operational intelligence: agents, work in the operation, time back — across every kind of business that fits the pattern.

Six equals. No beachhead band.

The public bands are equals. We name them so nobody reads a single trade as the product:

  • Manufacturing and production
  • Warehousing, logistics and distribution
  • Technical service and maintenance
  • Health and care
  • Retail and multi-site
  • Venue operations

A named account is not a category. A pilot that happens to sit in Gastgewerbe does not rewrite the homepage. The ICP is the operating pattern, not the industry label on the door.

The pattern, not the trade

It fits where three things hold at once: demand is uncertain, capacity is fixed in the short run, and labour and material must be committed before demand is known.

A line that cannot re-tool tonight. A dock that cannot add a bay. A crew that cannot invent cover. A ward that cannot create a qualification. A branch that cannot move the close. A venue that cannot reprint the Schicht after the doors open.

Same three-part pattern. Same core. Agents assemble what ERP, Warenwirtschaft, and Zeitwirtschaft already hold into a named measure. A person releases it. Arithmetic stays in code. The model only writes language.

What we are not selling

Not a dashboard. Not a website. Not a chatbot over bad figures. Not a gastro SKU with five other bands as footnotes. Not invented hours, ROI, or accuracy bands.

Same-series cuts already live: the screen (dashboard is not a decision); the file (right numbers can still be reporting); the floor (tonight’s Schicht does not move); the commercial offer (agents take the work); the week closer on Kennzahlen walls (you need time back); the material commitment (Wareneinsatz is a decision). This piece locks the category: one core, every kind of business.

If the object model already exists in your trade, twenty minutes is enough to see whether released work is worth building. If the data cannot answer the question, we say so.

FAQ

Is this a vertical product for Gastgewerbe? No. Gastgewerbe is one of six equal bands. The beachhead is not the market. The product is one core.

Is a first customer the ICP? No. A named account is not a category. The ICP is the three-part operating pattern.

Do you sell a different product per industry? No. New sector is configuration on the same core — ontology, forecast, simulation, agents with Freigabe — not a second homepage.

Is this a dashboard or a chatbot? No. Spectacle is the intelligence layer. Agents do the work. A chart that does not release a measure is still reporting.

Do you invent hours saved? No. Time back is the want. We do not publish invented hours, ROI, or accuracy bands.

Where should I start? Spectacle. The Insights series is how we write about the operation.
